This Winter at Willow Marina

The sun may be shining at Willow Marina, but the frosty mornings are certainly showing us that winter is well on its way.

The Val Wyatt team are very busy lifting the boats out of the water and cleaning them ready for winter storage. If you haven’t made arrangements for your boat this winter, but want to protect your pride and joy from the worst of the elements, do contact us to get a quote for storage – but be quick, as we have very limited availability.

Our wonderful local produce deli and cafe on site, The Local Larder, is now opening it’s doors for limited hours each week. The shop will now be open on Fridays and Saturdays 10am-4pm, although Alison is available at other times by appointment. Hampers, local vegetable boxes, Christmas meats (including turkeys) are all still available.

Are you thinking of selling your boat this winter? Although the season may be over, we are still able to help. Our expert team are available to assist with this process to make it stress-free and easy for you. We give you honest advice about what asking price your boat can command in order to facilitate a swift sale; we ensure all documents are in place to ensure a correct transaction; and we make sure that your boat looks its best in our marketing. If you would like to understand what we can do for you, find out what we’re offering, and how we can help you achieve the right price, contact us.

Finally, we will be closing our offices at 5pm on Friday 19th December, re-opening on Friday 2nd January. During this time we will regularly be at the marina to check all is well with all of the boats in our care, and will be contactable on our office line for urgent matters. But otherwise, we’ll be wishing you a wonderful Christmas period, and look forward to seeing you in the new year.
